Buying from LHDautos
Like a traditional showroom, where you go to view the goods parked outside a dealership. On our website, you have the opportunity to view products from different angles from our stock when available. Generally, we supply to meet our customers’ specific requirements and have no need to hold large stocks. When you require further information or wish to speak to our staff, please call us, use the enquiry form or email us.
When you decide to purchase from LHDautos, we take a small deposit of 15% of the estimated total cost. This is to reinforce your commitment to complete the transaction. The products will then be shipped to the country of your choice in West Africa and released on full payment of the total cost as agreed at the time of contract.
Payment is made to us by bank transfer only. We do not take credit cards and we will never ask you to pay by Western Union. However, under certain circumstances we may agree to an Escrow service.
Our prices can be in US Dollars, Euros and UK Sterling, and we are able to convert to your local currency in West Africa, to give a better idea of the costs. Please visit www.xe.com for the latest exchange rates.
Import Duty
When importing into West Africa, you must be aware that you have to pay import duty and in some cases, Value Added Tax (VAT). We do not include these within our quoted price. However, if you require that we handle all the transaction end to end, we will give you a price to deliver through our agents operating within the sub-continent.
Shipping
Our approach to shipping is by giving the buyer the option of containerised or roll-on roll-off. As to be expected, containerised shipping is more expensive but both methods are safe. We insure all our vehicles until they are delivered to you whatever method you choose.
